HotKarz.com is sponsoring a special "Super Cruise" beginning in this year. We will be awarding three rather large and beautiful trophies to the three vehicles that you, the folks, vote for at the various cruise nights in the southern Maine area.

Here's how it (hopefully) works.

Every Sunday, HotKarz.com will post the cruise night location where ballots will be passed out that week. The driver of every vehicle that shows up for that cruise will be issued a ballot. The drivers (or their spouse) would choose a vehicle that is present, other than their own, and write down the plate number of the vehicle they choose as the best of the cruise - People's Choice.

Each week we will attempt to pass out ballots at a different cruise location. One week it may be at Blast From The Past, and another it may be at Cumberland House of Pizza, or Two Trails Diner, or Low's. Rest assured that we will make every effort to pass out ballots at least once at each cruise location in the area.

Later in the season, at a show or cruise to be announced, the trophies will be awarded to the three vehicles that received the most cumulative votes.

The more cruises you attend where ballots are passed out, the greater your chances of winning. The folks cannot vote for your car if it is not present at the cruise where the ballots are issued. So...

Make it a point to visit HotKarz.com every Sunday, to find out where ballots will be available that week, so you don't miss those important cruise-ins.

Voting will be on the honor system, because car folk are honest folk. But whatever you do, please do not vote for the PT Woody - that is our car, and it is not eligible to win.

As a final note: when the trophies are awarded at the Kiwanis Show at the Kiwanis Beach, Rte 25 in Standish ME on 8/10, you or someone who you choose to represent you must be present to win. The reason: voting is done by license plate number, and we may not know who owns the vehicle, so we have no way of getting the trophy to you.
